Stretch Marks is the second album by multinational jazz-noise collective Desert Island Dicks. It was jointly released in April 2008 by British independent label Amoebic Productions and Australian netlabel Glitch City.
Intended as a contrast to their previous album, which condensed full-length jazz pieces to a standardised 90-second length, Stretch Marks "applies the jazz tenets of breathing space and free improvisation to a mode more traditionally defined by strict methodical structuring, that of the solo female pop 45".
Two years and four months ahead of the Shamantis/Justin Bieber stretch that went round the internet, for those keeping score.
